The Early Career Group Committee are responsible for organising events and courses aimed specifically at young professionals in the geotechnical engineering industry. The ECG are also responsible for arranging competitions and reporting to the BGA Executive Committee on matters affecting ECG members.
The ECG provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing, debate, and networking. The group aspires to build a strong network between it’s members and the wider geotechnical engineering community, and to represent the views of early career members to the BGA.
There are two main groups operating at present: London and the South West
