Late Sri Tammineedi Visweswara Rao garu(1926 -2000). Born in 1926 in otaada (west godavari) to sri T.Narayana murthy (who is a farmer) and Buli venkammma garu.
He did farming along with his father before he took a challenging decision to start business where in he can earn respect and wealth and hence moved to rajahmundry in 1947 at the age of 22yrs and started working in lorry business and later he came up with the idea of transport company in 1959.
He started the parcel service along with the support of his own brothers in the name of Bharat motor parcel service with 3 lorries and 10 branches initially in rajahmundry ,Andhra Pradesh which rapidly expanded towards east-coastal area of Andhra Pradesh and then towards rayalaseema,telangana in 1980’s and late 1990’s and extensively spread through out each and every part of Andhra pradesh,and has opened up branches in major cities like orissa(berhampur) metropolitan cities like Bangalore,Chennai .
Having dedicated fleet numbering 250 own trucks and more than 100 trucks are attached on a regular hire basis.
All own trucks are closed body of various sizes and maintained in good condition.. Having own workshop for attending fabrication and repairing facilities.
Man power of 4000 directly and indirectly involved.
Having branches in each and every corner of AP, Major cities in Tamilnadu, Karnataka and orissa Totally 240 Branches in South India.
