Trading company BIBUS METALS s.r.o. was founded on December 14, 2010 by detaching a former METALS division from the company BIBUS s.r.o. By this act BIBUS METALS s.r.o. became a 100% daughter company of BIBUS METALS AG and a full member of BIBUS METALS Group. Like all BIBUS companies also BIBUS METALS s.r.o. belongs to the holding BIBUS HOLDING AG located in Fehraltorf, Switzerland, near Zurich.
History of selling metallic materials goes back to 1995 when the sales group METALS was founded within BIBUS s.r.o. Titanium and nickel based alloys have been the main trade commodities since the very beginning, later completed by specialty steels and exotic materials like zirconium tantalum, molybdenum, tungsten, hafnium and others.
A large warehouse has been built gradually in Brno, Videnska street, as a complement for the BIBUS METALS Group sales network warehouses. Wide range of titanium and nickel alloy products like wires, bars, tubes and plates are available in European and nowadays even in Chinese warehouses of BIBUS METALS Group. Welding material, fasteners, fittings, piping parts and many more are available complementary as well. The company can provide even deliveries of forgings and thick-wall centrifugally cast pipes.
Besides traditional range of metallic materials BIBUS METALS s.r.o. is a distributor of friction materials JURID, namely brake blocks and brake pads for railway and industrial applications. Regarding this commodity BIBUS METALS s.r.o. is the official distributor of Honeywell Bremsbelag GmbH for Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Italy.
High quality of supplied materials and rendered services resulting in a long-term customer satisfaction is the main aim of the company. All the material is purchased, stocked, cut and sold according to certified quality management system ISO 9001 and AS 9120, the latter qualifying BIBUS METALS s.r.o. as a supplier for aerospace industry.
