Join our Board of Kid Directors! What: A 12 week leadership experience for kids. Why: At Big Brain Box kids are not just the leaders of tomorrow but the leaders of today. How: Our programs [aka Board Meetings] are designed to meet both the academic and social needs of our Kid Directors. This allows kids' natural leadership skills to develop so that they become authentic, insightful, and fully self expressed experts [aka focus group members]. The Details: The first 8 Weeks is a free (to kids) leadership program. The final 4 weeks is a "leadership-in-practice" program. This segment of the program is an opportunity for toy companies to engage our Kid Directors for thoughtful, insightful, and authentic feedback. Kids are compensated for their time and expertise in the final 4 weeks. 4 LEADERSHIP PILLARS Big Brain Box's Developmentally Designed Leadership Program 1.Board Leadership Kid Directors: a. Write their own bylaws b. Follow an agenda c. Review and approve meeting minutes d. Understand what a quorum is and practice voting protocol. e. Play Officers: chair, treasurer, secretary 2. Visionary Leadership Kid Directors: a. Lead the direction of the program, its focus and outcomes b. Powerfully share their insights, ideas, and vision c. Imagine a future for a world they want, and take steps to fulfilling on it 3. Creative Leadership Kid Directors: a. Learn by being free to experiment and make mistakes b. Explore entrepreneurial skills such as branding, marketing, and product development c. Innovate solutions to problems using their creativity 4. Compassionate Leadership Kid Directors: a. Hear and acknowledge others b. Openly dialogue and disagree c. Experience their own, and others', greatness d. Learn to surprise themselves, going beyond their so-called limits
