Establishment of the Health Big Data Center IMERI collaborates with UMG Idealab in the formation of the first health data center to support biomedical research on a national scale as well as wide development potential with a standardized billing system and powerful computing capabilities. IMERI–Idealab Health Big Data Center will function in integrating research data and health services registered in FMUI and 9 hospitals in the Academic Health System UI. The existence of this data center can enable further development of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) which currently exists in IMERI. In addition, IMERI–Idealab Health Big Data Center will be an extension of FMUI's cloud storage system. The data center will also act as cloud computing, where researchers get access to use high-performance computing (HPC), also using algorithms that have been developed by IMERI. The billing system is implemented in the operation of the IMERI Health Data Center to optimize the use of cloud computing capabilities and services for using artificial intelligence-based algorithms.
