Big Penny is a digitally-focused creative strategy consultancy founded by Kristin Rupert, a career-long digital strategist and agency veteran who yearned for a better way to work in the advertising world. While working on “the inside,” she discovered an opportunity to maximize creative potential - by getting rid of the constructs holding it back. Big Penny was born from the desire to spend less time on things that don’t matter, and more time on things that do. Less time catering to bureaucracy and waiting in line amongst the red tape of a large agency machine. More time understanding the client’s business goals, building a creative partnership, and breaking through roadblocks in achieving those goals. Big Penny embodies the concept that one, small creative step can have an exponential impact. Leaning into curiosity, being a little bolder, connecting more authentically, pushing one boundary, can create more dynamic and impactful connections.
