While working for a concrete pumping and concrete pump equipment dealer, Bigfoot founder Bill Steiner noticed a growing number of operators and customers would complain about outrigger pad problems and pricing.
Knowing the challenges facing the operators of boom type of equipment first hand, how the job site can effect the needs of a safe or unsafe equipment set up and just how important a proper outrigger pad can be to the personal safety of all on the job site, Bill set out to manufacture better and more economical outrigger pads.
Founded in 1995, Bigfoot Construction Equipment, Inc. has grown from building wood outrigger pads for a few local concrete pumping and crane companies, to being a leading wood and plastic outrigger pad manufacturer for O.E.Ms. machine dealers and end-users throughout the United States and Canada.
Building better outrigger pads and pricing them affordably has been Bigfoot’s mission and that commitment continues with constant testing of new materials and manufacturing methods.
