BOSI champions a “for SIDS, by SIDS” approach to close the "blue" funding gap for Big Ocean States. By developing programs focused on funding, R&D, and advocacy, BOSI empowers and elevates the local communities of these Big Ocean States, placing them at the forefront of blue innovation and advocacy, and directing resources to those traditionally underserved. This targeted approach leverages their lived experiences, traditional knowledge, and local expertise, fostering South-South cooperation, and promoting a strong SIDS leadership on the global stage.
