Bilkent PTC creates a platform in which people who are interested in recent history, politics, and social events, broaden their knowledge about these subjects share their ideas freely. Expert-invited and internal consciousness-based activities are held, discussion meetings and ideas are organized by PTC creating an environment in which respect, tolerance, and empathy are developed by interested and talented university communities. Bilkent PTC conducts its work without discrimination of any kind, such as religious beliefs, ethnicity, gender, physical condition, political opinion, or the like. Universal human rights and democratic procedures are observed in all activities of the club. The PTC is by no means a proponent of a certain ideological view, a movement of ideas, a political formation, or a group of religious beliefs. The PTC carries the mission of gathering different opinions, beliefs, and ideas under the same roof and forming a structure above ideologies. The Political Thought Club acts without a material profit aim.
