In 2008, an insurance restoration division was added to the company and Kirk Palmer joined the team. President: Bill Grotheer, a native Savannahian, graduated from the University of South Carolina. He began Bill Grotheer in 1987 with a focus on new residential construction. It grew to be a highly respected company over time due to the quality of workmanship, attention given to details, and competitive pricing. The business flourished simply through the referrals of pleased clients. Vice President of Operations: Brian Mims joined Bill Grotheer Construction in 1995 as the accounting manager and estimator. With a business degree in accounting from The University of Georgia, Brian was able to draft precise estimates and keep costs within budget for the valued clients. Brian went on to become a licensed contractor in Georgia and South Carolina. He is LEED AP certified. Estimator: Kirk Palmer joined Bill Grotheer Construction in 2008 as an estimator. He began his career in insurance restoration in the early 1990s. Kirk went on to become an insurance adjustor for some of the largest insurance companies in the nation. He is Xactimate certified and is proficient in providing accurate estimates.
