BillyChip®️ was created by 20 year old ambulance driver Billy Abernethy-Hope to increase direct donations to rough sleepers in the UK. BillyChip is a safe secure currency for people experiencing homelessness increasing direct public donations as we transition to a cashless high street the poorest in our communities are the most negatively impacted. Our safe currency protects the donator against misuse which is shown to reduce direct donations. Our unique business model makes it cheaper for people to directly support the homeless, gives choice to homeless people using BillyChip to access food and drink from high street retailers, pay the retailer for items provided against redeemed BillyChips and we also generates revenue for local homeless projects.
