BIM4CE

The Research Project "BIM4CE - Bridge Monitoring using Real-Time Data and Digital" is dedicated to the monitoring of critical infrastructures through intelligent sensors. Technical University of Dresden is the Lead partner in partnership with: Gruppo FOS (Italy); Centro Super Calcolo Piemonte (CSP); IAPP TU DRESDEN (Germany); European Project Center TU DRESDEN (Germany); schüßler-PLAN (Germany); RSI MANSION RAKIČAN (Slovenia); CESTEL (Slovenia); TECNOSITAF (Italy); ZAG (Slovenia). The R&D project was selected among 280 proposals selected within the first call of "Interreg Central Europe" programme 2021-2027. The BIM4CE project aims to develop innovative technology in monitoring bridges, among the major critical infrastructures, through the use of innovative smart sensors in combination with consolidated SCADA systems (supervisory control and data acquisition) to enable more resilient, safe and .cost-.effective management, allowing permanent monitoring of physical assets. The focus of the project lies in the scalability of the developed solution, which will consist of hardware and software solutions for data collection, connectivity infrastructure, data analysis and archiving, as well as for decision management.
