BIMA's overall mission is to defend the interests of independent labels and music producers in Belgium. We aims to create a legal, economic, political, social and financial environment that is favorable to the development and growth of the independent music sector.
Our Purpose is to represent Belgian independent music companies and to promote their cultural diversity.
To stimulate the production and distribution of sound recordings and musical artists
To defend the interests of the sector as well as the support structures for artists in the contemporary music sector
To support financial structures for independent music companies and their artists
To function as a network between members, national and international associations.
