Ensuring the presence of Magistrate/BSTI/RAB/ POLICE while conducting raids where required.
Helping the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) to provide logistics support in the seizure of goods.
Collecting permission on different government regulatory issues & preparing all necessary papers
Assembling proper evidence, filing cases, submitting the case at court & regular follow-up.
Ensuring proper destruction of the seized goods in the presence of LEA and/or the place of occurrence / counterfeit warehouse to be sealed properly.
Filing criminal cases against the counterfeiters as the complainant appearing before the courts as witnesses & pursuing to obtain Court orders to facilitate the destruction of further seizure or sealed products.
Providing status of counterfeit activities & generating reports with photographs of raids in progress.
Ensuring coordination among the field investigation team, regional Brand protection unit leaders, LEA, BSTI, field investigation force to identify & ensure effective drive against unfair competitions
Maintaining liaison with different government offices e.g. DC office, BSTI, Environment, RAB, DB, and Customs regarding actions to be taken against various fake, grey & look-alike factories.
Providing necessary legal assistance & advice in the company as required when required.
