BINESWAR BRAHMA ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Bineswar Brahma Engineering College (BBEC), Kokrajhar, is the third government engineering college in Assam. It is a Government of Assam institute approved by AICTE and affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). Established in 2008 and named in honour of Bineswar Brahma, the college began its journey in 2010 with two undergraduate branches and has since grown into a full-fledged engineering institution. BBEC currently offers four B.Tech programs — Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute is also part of the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) under the National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU), Government of India.
