In 1978 vond Alexis Dupuis, oprichter van SPLIN, de allereerste elektronische bingo uit met 2 kaarten. Bijna 40 jaar later vertegenwoordigt Splin 80 % van de fabricatie en commercialisatie van bingo´s in België en meer dan 30 % van de Kansspelen met Verminderde Inzet.
SPLIN staat voor een multidisciplinaire aanpak waarbij ontwikkelaars, grafisch ontwerpers, informatici en technische experts klaar staan van creatie tot lancering.
In 2020 werd het bedrijf overgenomen door de Rus Tony Group, de Belgische marktleider in exploitatie van kansspelen.

En 1978, Alexis DUPUIS, fondateur de SPLIN, invente le premier bingo électronique à deux cartes. Près de 40 ans plus tard, la société SPLIN représente 80 % de parts de marché dans la fabrication et la commercialisation des bingos en Belgique et plus de 30 % des machines à mise atténuée.
Pour y arriver, SPLIN a développé une équipe pluridisciplinaire (développeurs, infographistes, informaticiens, experts techniques) qui assure la maîtrise totale des produits du stade de la création jusqu’à la mise sur le marché. Cette expertise permet de développer des produits à la demande, sur base du cahier des charges spécifiques et ce, par exemple, en fonction du cadre législatif propre au pays.
En 2020, le groupe Tony Rus, leader du marché belge des exploitants a fait l'acquisition de SPLIN.
