Bio2Watt has rebranded to Bio2Watt Energy Holdings. Our rebranding is a sign of sustainable growth and the wave of change that is enveloping the South African Energy space. BEH still aims to develop, own and operate Waste to Energy projects throughout Africa. The first of Bio2Watt's project is the Bronkhorstspruit Biogas Project (BBP) situated 40 km East of Pretoria in Tshwane. Our BBP flagship plant is the first private Independent Power Producer in South Africa wheeling through Eskom following through to the Tshwane municipal network and finally to our off-taker, BMW. The BBP plant has been in operation since 2015. Our second project is under development in the Western Cape with a pipeline of projects in development in and around South Africa. We envisage spreading our footprint throughout Africa.
