Nick van Biezen has over 30 years of experience in industrial biotechnology, with a more applied focus of using micro-organisms in an industrial environment. Working at various companies (e.g. Unilever, Quest Int., TNO, HAN BioCentre, Koppert BS) as a fermentation specialist a broad experience is present in growing various micro-organisms in bioreactors (up till 20.000 liters). In 2010 Nick van Biezen started Bio-aNAlytiX van Biezen as a parttime (0,2fte) company, performing analysis of compounds in liquid samples for a variety of companies. Due to his background in fermentation technology, more consulting like questions came onto his path and the analysis part was a useful tool for answering research questions. At the beginning of the 2021 he started fulltime with Bio-aNAlytiX van Biezen to perform contract research for various companies.
