BIO-FED

BIO-FED, located at the BioCampus Cologne, is an expert in developing, compounding and marketing biodegradable and/or biobased compounds under the brand name M·VERA®. Depending on the requirement profile, these biocompounds are manufactured either completely or partially from renewable resources and are biodegradable in various environments or suitable for durable use. BIO-FED uses the production and parts of the laboratory of AKRO-PLASTIC and cooperates closely with their other branch, AF-COLOR (www.af-color.com), in the development and sales of biodegradable color, carbon black and additive masterbatches named AF-Eco®. AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH and AF-COLOR are headquartered in Niederzissen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. BIO-FED was founded in October 2014 as branch of AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH (www.akro-plastic.com) which belongs to the Feddersen Group (www.kdfeddersen.com).
