Although the name Biochrom may not be familiar, our instrument brands will be. The Biochrom spectroscopy range includes the Novaspec, Ultrospec, and GeneQuant, plus the Biochrom Libra and and Biochrom WPA brands.
Biochrom WPA is known for its great value spectrophotometers and colorimeters with a tiny footprint combined with the technical performance and analytical power of much larger (and more expensive) instruments. The Biochrom Libra range meets the full range of spectroscopy requirements for industrial, analytical and Life Science applications, from simple hand held colorimeters to high performance double beam spectrophotometers.
Biochrom manufactures two major brand names in the microplate instrumentation market – Biochrom Asys and Biochrom Anthos. Originating in Austria, these are regarded worldwide as premier ranges of high performance microplate readers and washers. All products offer laboratories excellent performance at a sensible price.
The Biochrom 30+ is recognized as the gold standard dedicated amino acid analyzer worldwide. It allows users to accurately detect and quantify amino acids and their derivatives in complex samples. Applications are available both for clinical analysis and screening of metabolic disorders, for drug synthesis, infusion fluids and for industrial applications in food, beverage and feedstuffs.
