Bio Collectors

Bio Collectors collect and recycle food waste using its own vehicles and Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant based in Mitcham, London. We process up to than 100,000 tonnes of the capital's food waste and operate the first biomethane plant in London that is capable of injecting "green" gas into the national gas grid. Our award-winning fleet of CNG collection vehicles service Greater London 6 days a week and are powered using the very biogas we create from the food waste itself, creating a perfect example of a circular economy in action and significantly reducing our environmental impact as a business. Additionally, we also make a digestate that is used as a natural fertiliser in agriculture and is transported to local farmland around the Surrey area.
