BIOCON Conference The BIOCON Conference will feature leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals discussing advancements and trends in biotechnology. This year’s theme, “Industrial Biotechnology for a Sustainable Future,” emphasizes the vital role of biotechnology in addressing global challenges in health, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. Last year, BIOCON 2023 marked the first international conference in biotechnologies organized by ITMO’s Advanced Engineering School (AES). Hosted in Almetyevsk, it brought together around 300 scientists and entrepreneurs from 14 countries. The main aim of the conference was to create a platform for international cooperation, interdisciplinary research, and academic exchange.
