BioContact e.V. was founded by PhD students in 2000.
Our goal is to provide a platform for young scientists to network with industrial companies from the field of life science, medicine and pharmaceutics.
Every year, we organize the CONTACT, one of the most important job fairs in the Rhine-Neckar region for life sciences, i.e. biology, chemistry, physics, medicine, pharmacy, and others.
CONTACT which has more than 1,500 visitors every year provides young scientists interested in a life science career with opportunities to gather information about companies and start-ups in the fields of biotechnology, pharmacy, management consulting, and publishing and to meet their representatives in order to find out about the entry possibilities they offer.
In addition, the volunteer members of BioContact collaborate with enterprises to organize information evenings and workshops several times a year where individual companies can personally present themselves to an interested public (“In CONTACT with”).
