The goal is to develop systems with low maintenance requirements, while actually being competitive.to conventional industrial solutions.
Biocycle's first milestone is production of biofuel by growing algae.
The thought of closing the cycle by creating oil out of CO2 is a beautiful thought.
Biocycle has the goal of making CO2 a leading resource - and competitative.
Biocycle doesn't see CO2 as pollution. CO2 should be seen as a resource. Fossil fuels were created by CO2, which microorganisms turned into hydrocarbons. Therefore hydrocarbons are the natures battery of energy, stored from the solar energy.
What we are still missing, is to close the cycle by recycle the CO2 by adding sunlight into stored and flexible energy.
