Biofilms Research Centre for Biointerfaces is a multidisciplinary research centre in the interface between life and material sciences. Our vision is to shape novel solutions for improved health through excellent science in close partnership with industry. Research areas The centre's broad expertise of bimolecular interactions and reactions at biological surfaces spans from theoretical modeling to the field of clinical science. We concentrate on three overlapping core areas of research: Biobarriers and pharmaceutical design, Biofilms at interfaces, and Smart materials at interfaces.
