Bioforest è un’associazione per la rigenerazione degli ambienti naturali che nasce nel 1998 dalla volontà di promuovere una cultura produttiva più sensibile all’ambiente.
A questo scopo si propone di finanziare progetti finalizzati alla riforestazione e al rimboschimento di ecosistemi forestali distrutti o degradati in Italia e nel mondo, seguendo rigorosi criteri ecologici in sintonia con le caratteristiche delle aree interessate, per tutelarne la biodiversità vegetale e animale originariamente presente. Inoltre, promuove e sostiene attività di ricerca scientifica divulgandola attraverso mezzi di informazione, incontri, conferenze e dibattiti volti a portare visibilità ai progetti attivi.
