Biofuel Solutions are entering a huge and expanding market; the global fertiliser market was valued at USD 155.80 billion in 2019. There is a growing demand for bio-based and micronutrient fertilisers as environmental sustainability has become an important market driver and countries seek to reach their carbon neutrality targets. The development and marketing of a new type of fertiliser is extracted from the wastewater from the HTC process. Biofuel Solutions Ltd has secured a contract with Antaco UK Ltd (Antaco), a frontrunner in biocoal production, and will exclusively trade and distribute the phosphate fertiliser (produced as a by-product by their HTC plant). Biofuel Solutions intend to market this fertiliser to major players in agriculture and food production companies and wholesale fertiliser manufacturers who are driven to reduce their costs and give their customers environmentally sustainable options. Biofuel Solutions Ltd will be the UK’s first company to have the understanding and ability to source and distribute a new biofuel and fertiliser to the market. All business comes through the company and benefits the UK by contributing to GDP and employment, as well as a high-grade, sustainable phosphorus product.
