About BPDA The Biogas Project Developers Association (BPDA) is Malaysia’s leading industry platform representing developers of biogas projects across a range of organic feedstocks, including palm oil mill effluent (POME), agricultural waste, municipal solid waste, and food waste. We bring together key players to advance biogas as a critical part of Malaysia’s renewable energy and climate action strategy. BPDA advocates for enabling policies, streamlined regulations, and access to financing to support scalable, high-impact biogas solutions such as power generation, bio-CNG, and carbon credit initiatives.
