About Bioinformatics Research Facility (Bio_R)

The BIO-R serves as a centralised resource for providing expert bioinformatics consulting and data analysis solutions. Investigators from within and outside the Faculty of Medicine on both grant-funded and chargeback-based projects for the analysis of large-scale biological datasets produced by high-throughput ‘omics’ experiments can use the service. The BIO-R’s mission is to build and maintain an infrastructure that provides access to bioinformatics expertise to enable research, enhance impact, and serve as a collaborative research hub.
