Who are we?
Biomed Training was developed by Biomedical scientists who knew the challenges of graduates without any knowledge of practical laboratory work. We wished to do something for enthusiastic future scientists who can progress into their chosen field with the skills we provide them through our course. Our team consists of Biomedical Scientists with over 10 years combined experience within the NHS and also the private sector.
What we do?
We have been training in Histology for 2 years and we are now introducing a Blood sciences . This includes learning the core skills required for technicians to work/locum at a band 3 or 4 level within the NHS. The band 4 roles are also known as Associate Practitioner roles within the private sector.
Why are we training?
Our staff has worked in numerous laboratories and noticed a common weakness. Laboratories are understaffed and overworked to focus on training their staff members and so progression is very slow and can take up to 2-3 years in some case. Our trainers are very enthusiastic about teaching and loves to spread his knowledge.
What can I do with my qualification?
Once you complete the course you will receive a certificate from Biomedtraining which verifies your training. You could then begin applying for band 3 or 4 roles. We also have dedicated recruitment agents scouring roles for our students with competitive rates of pay.
Aim:
Our long-term goals are to ensure our students can advance their careers and go onto earn more through higher paying roles. Biomedtraining is passionate about advancing their students careers and endeavor to assist them even after the training.
