Biomedical Tissues is specialised in the research and development of implantable medical devices for the regeneration of human tissue. We have invented a novel way to produce microfibers of synthetic biodegradable polymers which can be used as tissue regenerative guides. These devices mimic the structure of collagen fibers offering a 3D environment for cell colonization and proliferation for tissue healing. Our first product to market is Tisseos, a new resorbable synthetic membrane for dental implantology and periodontology. Biomedical Tissues also offers implantable biomaterial and medical device testing and evaluation services for cardiovascular, dental and orthopaedic implants, osteoinductive materials, tissue engineering products.
