BioMin Technologies Ltd was established in 2014 to commercialize research from Queen Mary University London and Imperial College, London. We specialise in the development of bioactive glass materials for treating dentine hypersensitivity and providing additonal protection from tooth decay.
BioMin’s technology is based on three core patent applications that enable the slow release of Fluoride, Calcium and Phosphate ions that enable the formation of Fluorapatite and as such outperform equivalent products on the market. This has numerous dental applications, from toothpaste and composites, to orthodontic glues and varnish.
We are currently entering the growth phase of the business having already launched initial range products under the BioMin® brand we are also used as the key active ingredient in toothpastes and other dental products available around the world.
