Bioquimica.cl was founded in 2005. We are a team of scientists, educators, industrial designers, and a variety of professionals that support our processes. Currently we have 4 areas of business in which we continue to grow by being committed to provide the best solutions and service for our BtoB and BtoC clients. We are ISO9001:2008 certified and in the process of obtaining ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
What we do:
Science education: We have developed EXPERIMENTA®, a complete science education solution for pre-school and K-12. This program develops competences in students, uses inquiry-based science, and it is composed of 160+ hands-on, whole classroom experiences. We also have a wide variety of kits for specialized science education both for high school and college.
Medical Devices Contract Manufacturer: We manufacture microbiome sampling kits in a easy to mail format, which also contains a retrieval system through USPS. These are currently being manufactured for a company in the US and these are CLIA compliant. We have a team of scientists, industrial and graphical designers, and we can develop custom medical devices for your company.
R+D: We have an active area of research and development through which we develop our own science education products as well as research and product development for other companies.
Laboratory Equipment Development and Manufacturing: We have developed
1) Fluorescent imaging systems for one channel and two channel detection of fluorescent signal from either gels or blots.
2) Fast DNA amplification system using thermal convection PCR.
3) Microbiology Incubators.
4) UV and blue light transilluminator.
5) other custom equipment.
