BioReactor Sciences, or BRS, is a bioreactor manufacturer located in metropolitan Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to improve quality of life by helping small to medium sized life science companies scale up their R&D capabilities and reduce time-to-market through collaborative development and high quality value-priced bioreactor systems.
Our bioreactor range from 1 to 30+ liters; and include stirred tank, or mechanically-agitated bioreactors, air-lift assisted, horizontally agitated (for solid state), biofilm fixed packed bed, fixed packed bed perfusion, and multiplate bioreactors. We also offer a selection based on our patented horizontally rocked bioreactor (HRBR) technology that includes bioreactors for suspension cultures, adherent cell cultures with microcarriers, adherent cell culture using 3D porous carriers, and solid state cultures. HRBR technology is also applied to our AMTBR (automated multi-tray bioreactor) and AMPBR (automated multi-plate bioreactor).
We also offer related upstream bioprocessing products like the GM-100 portable glucose meter for bioreactor glucose monitoring and measuring glucose in upstream bioprocesses.
Our foundation rests in the collective strength of 30+ years of experience in bioprocess engineering, and designing and manufacturing bioreactors. As a research-based total solutions provider we improve quality of life with our bioreactors and professional services. We assist clients in identifying what bioreactor will best meet their needs with our preliminary assessment. Systems are then pre-assembled before shipping so that clients can begin using their technology practically right out of the box. Once familiarized with their new systems we follow up with technical support to ensure that it functions to the very best of their satisfaction. Each system is made to order so that they can be tailored to each customer's needs, achieving their goals in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.
