BIOS MATER

BIOS MATER is a Horizon Europe project transforming the construction sector through bio-based innovation, circular economy principles, and Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) solutions. We develop and demonstrate high-performance construction materials derived from renewable sources—ensuring durability, safety, and environmental responsibility. With 22 partners from 10 countries, BIOS MATER brings together research, industry, and policy to accelerate the shift toward climate-resilient, low-carbon building practices.
