Bioscan has supplied customers with unique research productivity tools for more than 30 years. Bioscan was founded in 1980 as a supplier of radioanalytic instrumentation and entered the PET chemistry equipment market in the late 1990s.
With the introduction of the NanoSPECT/CT in 2006 and the NanoPET/CT in 2010, Bioscan set a new standard in the field of molecular imaging of animal models for biological & disease research.
In 2011, Bioscan added the BioPET/CT imaging system to its product line. That year, the company also divested its analytic instrumentation and PET chemistry synthesis product lines, focusing the company exclusively on molecular imaging. In early 2012, Bioscan launched the BioFLECT true- 360° tomographic optical imager, as well as the MRS line of preclinical MRI scanners.
With the recent installation of its first PET/CT/MRI systems and the introduction of the BioSONIC line of preclinical ultrasound imagers, today Bioscan offers the most complete range of preclinical imaging systems in the world.
