BioTheRoS will develop best practices and concepts along the entire value chain for accelerating the scaleup of sustainable biofuels worldwide. This will be done based on advancements to the State-Of-The-Art (SOTA) on two key thermochemical (TEC) biomass conversion technologies: (1) pyrolysis and the upgrading of its intermediate products, and (2) gasification and Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis.
