Birchden Vineyards

Just outside Groombridge in Tunbridge Wells, you’ll find Birchden Vineyards. It’s a little slice of heaven; a family-run, 23-acre working farm where we work with nature and our community to lovingly produce mouth-watering wines, honey and apple juice. The limited-edition wines are sold via the cellar door, known as ‘The Tasting Den’, and a select few local stores and restaurants. Each bottle is a time capsule, carrying you straight back to that particular season. And when it’s gone, it’s gone. Join us for wine-tastings, vineyard tours, wines by the glass, food and wine pairing events, corporate events, private dining experiences and much, much more. Picnics on the vineyard will be running from Spring 2025, in partnership with the talented team at Purple Pumpkin in Tunbridge Wells. There is also a coffee truck open every Saturday serving coffee from Horsham Coffee Roasters (if you love the coffee at Fine Grind, you’ll love this too!), along with delicious crêpes and galettes to enjoy with a chilled glass of wine.
