The Birmingham Bar Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the Birmingham Bar Association. Established in 1994 and converted to a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation in 2001, the Foundation's encourages and unifies the philanthropic and educational efforts of the Birmingham Bar Association for the betterment of our community and for the promotion of justice. We make grants to other organizations who offer law-related charitable activities. We also offer our on programming including Mock Trial and Relsove to Solve (a conflict resolution program for middle school and high school students, We host Alabama Supreme Court and Appellate Courts for oral arguments in Birmingham for the general public, law students, high school students, and more to watch.
