BITCONF

BITCONF has impacted the lives of over 100k people worldwide. Its first edition was in 2014 and today the event is a major gathering of technology communities and is the largest and one of the most mature Bitcoin, Blockchain and cryptocurrency events in Brazil. With over 10 encounters BITCONF was born from the biggest facebook group about Bitcoin “Bitcoin Brasil”. Initially the idea was to bring together the people of the group to fraternize and debate but the blockchain revolution shaped and fueled the development of what is one of the most traditional events in the niche worldwide. During the event, Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are approached from various angles: social, economic, political, technological and philosophical. Hackathons are held as well as several simultaneous stages display a broad range of related issues with content for all knowledge levels. The last edition in São Paulo brought together about 2,000 participants, 100 national and international speakers, about 40 booths from various exchanges, altcoins and tokens, workshops and courses on Blockchain and mining in two days of event and 3 auditoriums. The next edition will take place on May 2023, at Centro de Eventos Hakka, in São Paulo. We expect about 4,000 participants in this edition. In addition to the debates on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, legal matters, tax, network rights, privacy, we will also be focusing on free software and the new blockchain games, NFT and metaverse.
