Passionate about clean energy, BJCE Australia commenced operations in 2014 with the aim of owning and operating 1GW of renewable energy generation in Australia by 2023. We are focussed on being a secure and reliable supplier to our customers, fostering the care and development of our people and delivering on our commitment to our stakeholders in a compliant, profitable, safe and environmentally responsible manner.
We own Australia's first co-located wind and solar farm, Gullen Range Wind Farm and Gullen Solar Farm. With a combined installed capacity of 175.5MW, the wind and solar farm can power in excess of 70,000 typical homes on an average day of wind and sunshine. BJCE Australia's next project is the Biala Wind Farm, a 31-turbine wind farm located in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.
Headquartered in Sydney, BJCE Australia is wholly owned by Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co. Limited through its Hong Kong subsidiary (BJCE HK). BJCE HK was established in August 2010 and is the leading supplier of wind power in China. As at 2017, BJCE HK owns and operates in excess of 8GW of clean and renewable energy generation assets, including wind, solar PV, hydroelectricity and gas.
