Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College 北京华文学院

Beijing Chinese Institute of Literature (formerly Beijing Secondary Tuition School for Returned Overseas Chinese Students) was founded in 1950 under the cordial care of Premier Zhou Enlai and presided over by Ms. He Xiangning and Mr. Liao Chengzhi, famous social activists and leaders of overseas Chinese, and was the first tuition school established in New China to recruit returned overseas Chinese students. Affiliated to the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the college is currently the only professional college in Chinese mainland dedicated to Chinese language education for overseas Chinese children.
