The British-Kazakh Society (BKS) is dedicated to promoting relations between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan. It was founded in 2002 and patronised by First President Nursultan Nazarbayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan
As a Society with both corporate and individual members, it has a full programme of events in area of business, arts, music, and sport.
It plays an important role in highlighting trade and investment opportunities as well as promoting cooperation and understanding between government and industry at all levels. It also places great emphasis on establishing and maintaining cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries.
