BKT Pay është institucioni i parë i parasë elektronike që licensohet në Shqipëri në 2023 sipas rregullores së re Nr.59/2022 për licensimin e institucioneve të tilla. BKT Pay është një filial i BKT dhe si i tillë ka përfitime të shumta nga kjo sinergji me bankën më të madhe në vend. Aplikacioni financiar i krijuar për telefona celularë që ofrohet nga BKT Pay quhet ‘’epara’’. epara ofron një aplikacion të portofolit dixhital falas për nevojat financiare të të rinjve siç janë: mbushja e llogarisë, mbajtja e fondeve dhe tërheqja e tyre, transferta parash, pagesa utilitare, pagesa në dyqane dhe kudo ku ka QR POS të instaluar 24/7, transaksione të këmbimeve valutore Euro-ALL etj. epara regjistron në mënyrë dixhitale përdorues nga mosha 18 vjeç e lart duke targetuar veçanërisht segmente të popullsisë që kanë eksperiencë të limituar ose nuk kanë eksperiencë me sistemin bankar. Aplikacioni epara është bere disponibel për publikun e gjerë në fillim të vitit 2024. BKT Pay is the first EMI to be licensed in 2023 in Albania according to the new regulation on licensing of EMIs no 59/2022. BKT Pay is subsidiary of BKT and as such benefits from the synergy created with the largest bank in Albania. The financial mobile application which is a mobile wallet designed and soon to be delivered by BKT Pay is called ‘’epara’’. epara offers a free mobile application for the financial needs of young people such as: adding, keeping and withdrawing cash from epara wallet, money transfers, payments for utilities, payments in shops wherever QR POS is available, EUR-LEK transactions etc. epara digitally onboards users from 18 years of age and above, targeting especially the unbanked and underbanked segments of the population. epara app has become available to the public in early 2024.
