BlackBox Energy Systems has patented the fast, efficient, reliable TruVolt(TM) motor with integrated, SCADA-enabled controllers and VFDs. TruVolt's heat-wicking stator design allows for superior efficiency across a wider range of loads and speeds. For industrial applications, the motor can be mounted to NEMA standard frames. It uses 80% less copper than an equivalent induction motor and is 1/2 the length and weight-- including the integrated controller and VFD. The SCADA-enabled controllers help businesses monitor and track performance and energy use to minimize lossed due to downtime and to meet current sustainability goals. The motor is highly efficient at low RPMs and continues to be efficient at turbine speeds. When combined with an engine, the motor generates electricity efficiently.
