Black Creative Trailblazers

The Black Creative Trailblazers CIC is dedicated to empowering, supporting, and promoting Black creatives across the United Kingdom. Our mission is to spotlight and nurture the immense talent within the Black creative community, providing them with the tools, opportunities, and platforms necessary to succeed and thrive in the creative industries. We established Black Creative Trailblazers to combat the severe underrepresentation of black creatives within the industry. With only 2% of workers in the UK’s creative industries being Black, there is a clear need for greater representation in this field. In addition to providing workshops, mentoring sessions and training opportunities, we host an annual showcase in Black History Month featuring live performances, cross-disciplinary collaborations, and interactive installations that spotlight the artistry of Black creatives to both the public and industry leaders.
