Black Equity Coalition (BEC)

Working Mission Statement The BEC strengthens equitable systems to affirm the dignity of every human-being through strategic collaborations, networks, and advocacy. To achieve this, the BEC utilizes the expertise of social scientists, physicians, health care professionals, epidemiologists, public health practitioners, funders, government officials, business and education leaders, researchers, and community advocates to address inequities that structural racism and oppression has on the health, well-being, and economic stability of Black communities.
