Black Fundraisers UK is a voluntary organisation connecting and supporting fundraisers from the Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) Community, by providing a regular forum to meet, share experiences and access professional support.
The principal aims of Black Fundraisers UK are:
• To support and enable networking among black fundraisers.
• To enhance the skills and ability of black fundraisers.
• To promote fundraising both from and within the BME Community.
• To improve access to fundraising expertise by BME organisations.
• To be a body which represents the views of black fundraisers, both within the Institute of Fundraising and externally across the sector.
The Group achieve its aims through:
• Regular meetings and events, providing an opportunity to network with other fundraisers and a forum for discussion.
• Arranging workshops and seminars that provide an opportunity for members to participate in skills development and mutual learning.
