Black Hills Drafting and Design was started to fill a void in Thurston Co. and surrounding areas. That void is BIM. Building Information Modeling. Using Computer Aided Drafting and Design software to create 3D models for residential and commercial projects. We understand that our clients are wanting more than floor plans and elevations. They want to be able to sit on the couch their new Livingroom and take in what it will feel like to host a family gathering around the holidays or watching a comedy all curled up on the couch. With BIM we can give our clients a perspective that not only helps them see and feel the space they are designing but a better understanding of their project budget, timelines, and end goals. We can provide material takeoffs, window and door schedules, and whole building energy analysis without ever unrolling a construction document set.
