Black People Who Hike was founded by Debbie Njai in September of 2019 after venturing out on her first hike. What started as a therapeutic outlet for herself, quickly turned into a global movement. #WeHikeToo is a movement to get black people active outside in nature. Nature is a free resource and we are committed to making the outdoors more equitable for everyone.
